In the search to stimulate a paradigm shift in footwear construction and spawn a new generation of manufacturing that eliminates cements, solvents, VOC's and waste, the North Face®'s technical designers have invented something new: a 100% glue-free shoe! Instead of glues and cements, the Suzy-Q-zy's patent-pending construction connects the insole to the outsole with unique snap-and-lock TPU connectors, which plug into a stitched plate hidden neatly beneath the footbed, and twist to lock permanently into place. The combined sole is then sewn to the upper, creating a simple, environmentally conscious shoe for comfortable, flexible everyday wear. Look good and feel good with the Suzy Q-zy collection! BLC-compliant suede and 100% recycled P.E.T. canvas upper. P.E.T. is a fabric spun from a variety of recycled plastics, usually beverage containers.
