As an RN working 13-16 hr shifts, foot comfort is a must. The Birki's take a while getting used to, but after a day or so, they are awesome. My back pain has actually improved, I think, because Birki's are more supportive and cause you to use different muscles. The drawback is sweaty feet, which I manage with wool socks over support hose. LOVE shoes made in Germany! LOVE Logohoo!
